Compare investment platforms
Filter regulated European brokers by fees, country and features. Add up to three to a side-by-side comparison. We may earn a commission when you open an account — never at your cost, never influencing our ranking.
This broker comparison covers the online brokers and investment platforms most widely available to European investors. Use the filters to narrow the list by country, assets, minimum deposit and interest on uninvested cash, then open a full review before you decide.
Every platform below is regulated in the EU, EEA or UK and rated with the same InvestBeacon methodology: trading and FX costs, product range, safety and investor protection, recurring-investment support and the quality of the everyday experience.

How to compare online brokers in Europe
Most people compare brokers on headline commission alone. That is the smallest part of the bill for a long-term investor. Work through these five checks instead.
1. Total cost, not commission
Add the trading fee, the currency conversion cost when you buy in another currency, any custody or inactivity charge, and the fund's own ongoing charges. A €0-commission app with a 0.5% FX spread can cost more than a €1 flat fee.
2. Regulation and investor protection
Check which legal entity serves your country, which regulator supervises it, and what compensation scheme applies. Protection covers broker failure — never investment losses.
3. Product and market access
Confirm the exact UCITS ETF, share class and exchange you intend to buy are available, not just the asset class in the marketing copy.
4. Recurring investing and fractional shares
If you plan to invest monthly, free or low-cost savings plans and fractional orders matter more than one-off trading fees.
5. Tax reporting and transfers out
Ask what annual statements you receive for your country, and what it costs to transfer your portfolio elsewhere later. Fractional positions often cannot be transferred and are sold instead.
