Our take
A clear, small starter offer on a very new platform. Experienced investors may find it worth researching; anyone wanting a verified reward and an assured exit is missing too much information today.
On this page · 11 sections
7Harvests is a Swiss crowdlending platform with an easily understood acquisition offer: €21 for completing registration, verification and a first investment. Its marketing also describes consumer, business and property-loan exposure. The simplicity of the offer is attractive, but the legal and regulatory position requires a more careful reading than the welcome banner. [H1]
Our preliminary assessment is cautious. The bonus is publicly advertised. The platform is available to EEA investors. The regulatory framing and the precise rights attached to the reward remain open questions; check the reward conditions before relying on the bonus.
What does the platform do?
7 Harvests AG's terms describe a claim-assignment model in which investors finance projects and acquire contractual claims. The operator is not a bank. The current terms state a €50 minimum investment and no investor fees from the platform, with possible payment-provider charges. [H2]
An assignment arrangement deserves the same questions as a security-based investment: who owes the payment, what rights have been transferred, who manages enforcement and what happens if the operator or borrower fails?
The company published an article introducing Bear and Boar Brewery as its first listing. That gives a concrete starting point for analysing an actual business case, rather than relying on a generic description of a diversified loan marketplace. [H3]
The live listing documents, borrower financials, security and complete claim agreement are necessary to assess an individual investment. Public marketing pages do not establish those facts, and we have not inspected an authenticated loan list.
How the €21 challenge is presented
The official “How It Works” page assigns €7 to registration, €7 to KYC and €7 to the first investment, with completion within seven days. A separate official announcement says the €21 is credited after the first investment becomes active and does not require a referral. [H1], [H4]
The partner campaign description matches the €7 + €7 + €7 structure. It does not establish three independently withdrawable €7 payouts. [H10] It is also not an exclusive InvestBeacon benefit on the evidence we have.
The start of the seven-day clock, the meaning of “active” while project funding is incomplete, any minimum hold and withdrawal without reinvestment remain unconfirmed. An advertised account credit is not automatically a bank payout.
The apparent 42% bonus needs context
Dividing €21 by the advertised €50 minimum produces 42%. The arithmetic is correct, but the description “42% return” would be wrong. It is a one-off promotional amount relative to an assumed qualifying investment, not a recurring or annualised investment yield.
More importantly, that calculation says nothing about the probability of repayment or how long the original €50 stays exposed. An incentive can exceed the interest on a small initial ticket while still leaving principal at risk. It should be assessed as one cash-flow component, not as a reason to disregard the underlying loan.
Until the exact qualifying investment and reward withdrawal terms are confirmed, even the 42% illustration belongs in an explanation of the arithmetic rather than a promotional headline.
“Swiss regulated” requires a precise explanation
The platform's legal text is internally difficult to reconcile. Section 3.5 states that 7Harvests is not directly supervised by a Swiss regulator and that investor funds lack Swiss deposit insurance. Section 8.1 uses broader supervision language, while also excluding direct FINMA supervision. [H2]
FINMA explains that self-regulatory organisations supervise relevant members for anti-money-laundering compliance. Such affiliation is not equivalent to prudential regulation of a bank or insurance of investments. [H5]
We have not verified a current VQF membership certificate or a prudential investment licence for 7Harvests. The accurate response is to identify the missing evidence. It would be wrong either to reproduce a “Swiss safety” implication or to declare the business unlawful solely because a search did not locate a record.
EEA availability and onboarding
7Harvests is available to EEA investors; this does not mean every registration qualifies for the bonus. The terms retain Swiss-directed provisions and declarations for non-Swiss investors. [H2], [H6]
We will not instruct a reader to claim they discovered a platform independently if they arrived through our promotion. Complete applicable onboarding declarations accurately; ask the operator if a required declaration does not fit your actual circumstances.
This is not a minor detail for a European comparison site. Country eligibility affects whether visitors can register, receive the incentive and be validly attributed. A country flag in a network interface may describe traffic targeting, not the complete legal entitlement to invest.
Buyback and segregation are not the same thing as guaranteed principal
The website markets several protective arrangements. The FAQ itself says investment returns are not guaranteed and describes investments as generally held to maturity unless an exception is specified. [H7]
Our interpretation is that every promise must be matched to the entity and money behind it. Two buyback commitments can be highly correlated if the same problem weakens both counterparties. Separating account balances from operating cash is useful, but does not remove borrower credit risk or settle every insolvency priority question.
We would require a current balance sheet, the exact obligation triggers, covered amounts and enforcement mechanics before assigning weight to a buyback claim. The word “guarantee” on its own cannot establish recoverability.
What specialist coverage contributes
P2P Empire and re:think P2P both question the relationship between 7Harvests' marketing and its documentation. Their reviews also identify its short operating history as a limitation. Some figures in older reviews, including minimums, differ from the current terms we read. Those older discrepancies are useful history, not a reason to overwrite current terms with stale numbers. [H8], [H9]
We do not adopt reviewer scores or unverified allegations as our own conclusions. Their strongest contribution is a list of questions that can be tested against documents, management answers and an eventual performance record.
Who might consider it—and who should wait?
An experienced investor willing to investigate a new platform may find the offer worth researching further. Someone looking for a straightforward, verified reward with an assured exit is missing too much information at present.
We will update this review as the platform answers the open questions on the clock and reward access.
Frequently asked questions
Is the €21 paid for registration alone?
The public campaign describes all three steps within seven days. We have not verified a registration-only cash payout. [H1], [H4]
Is the starter bonus exclusive to an affiliate link?
The official announcement says no referral is required. Partner attribution may still need a tracking link, but that is a separate matter. [H4]
Is Swiss incorporation the same as a FINMA investment licence?
No. Corporate registration, AML affiliation and prudential licensing are distinct concepts. [H5]
Can an EU resident claim the offer?
7Harvests is available to EEA investors. Registration and onboarding checks remain separate from completing the €50 first-investment step within seven days and receiving the reward. Complete applicable declarations accurately; reward access remains unconfirmed. [H2], [H6]
