Our take
An identifiable ECSP business-lending platform with a 0.5% partner cashback on money deposited and invested in your first 90 days, uncapped and paid on day 91. The cashback is small; the real work is project-level: which company owes the money and how it will repay.

Afranga's current partner campaign pays investors 0.5% cashback on the amount they both deposit and invest in the first 90 days after registration, with no cap and no minimum investment for the bonus. The cashback is transferred to the investor's wallet on day 91. These terms come from partner material supplied to InvestBeacon on 22 October 2026. [CW-A]
Afranga's public help centre separately describes an earlier generic registration bonus that ended for new registrations in late May 2026. That historical public scheme is distinct from the current partner campaign. [A1, A5]
The platform itself remains worth reviewing for investors who want to examine lending businesses and their finances. The money you invest finances business loans rather than becoming an insured bank balance, and no bonus — past or present — compensates for choosing a borrower whose ability to repay you do not understand.
What the investor actually finances
Afranga markets European business lending through an ECSP crowdfunding structure. Its operator, Afranga EOOD, identifies Bulgarian Financial Supervision Commission Resolution 863/12.09.2023 as its authorisation. The regulator's 2024 annual report also records the company's licensing history and an extension procedure completed in early 2025. [A2, A3]
The partner description identifies Stikcredit and Lendivo among the businesses raising funding. A company can use that borrowing to expand consumer lending, but that does not automatically make you the direct creditor of each consumer. The project KIIS and loan agreement determine your claim, debtor and recourse. [CW-A]
This matters when assessing diversification. Lending to two finance companies can create different exposures, but their dependence on similar borrowers, funding markets or owners may still connect the results. Count independent repayment sources, not simply the number of loans displayed.
What the licence changes
ECSP oversight concerns the provision of crowdfunding services. It does not insure the commercial success of the borrower. Afranga expressly states that investments are not covered by deposit guarantee or investor compensation schemes. [A4]
There is also an important difference between a company being liable with its assets and a particular asset being pledged to investors with an enforceable first-ranking security. The partner description uses the former idea. We would not convert that into “every investment is fully secured.” For a specific project, examine the security documents, creditor rank and enforcement arrangements.
For a lending-company borrower, useful questions include overdue consumer balances, impairment policy, existing debt, shareholder support and the maturity of its funding. A profitable income statement can coexist with a shortage of cash when lenders need repayment.
The partner cashback
Current offer (partner terms, 22 October 2026). [CW-A]
- 0.5% cashback on funds invested in the first 90 days after account registration.
- The bonus equals 0.5% of the amount both deposited and invested; a deposit alone earns no bonus.
- No cap on the bonus and no minimum investment for the bonus. The platform's own €10 product entry point is a separate matter.
- The cashback is transferred to your wallet on day 91 after registration.
For example, €2,000 deposited and invested within the first 90 days would earn €10 on day 91.
The earlier public scheme. Afranga's help centre describes a separate generic registration bonus that ended for new registrations in late May 2026. Its rules describe that historical scheme, not the current partner campaign. [A1, A5]
The cashback is small relative to the capital you commit. It should not change which borrower you choose.
Returns, costs and access need separate checks
The partner page advertises returns up to 16% annually and no investor fees. These are dated campaign statements. They should not be read as a single rate available on every project or as proof that every payment-provider and recovery cost is zero. [CW-A]
A borrower paying a higher rate may be accepting more expensive funding because cheaper finance is unavailable, unsuitable or slower. That can create an opportunity for investors, but it also makes the reason for the rate worth investigating. Compare the maturity, security and cash generation of the actual project.
We have not established a binding early-exit entitlement for every Afranga investment. Treat the selected repayment schedule as the working commitment unless the documents provide another route. Uninvested wallet withdrawals and repayment of an active loan are different transactions.
Our assessment
Afranga offers an identifiable crowdfunding framework and a 0.5% partner cashback on money deposited and invested in your first 90 days. The useful next step is project-level due diligence: determine which company owes the money and how it expects to repay. Decide on the investment as if the cashback did not exist.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a current Afranga offer?
Yes. The partner campaign pays 0.5% of the amount you both deposit and invest in your first 90 days after registration, uncapped and with no minimum for the bonus, transferred to your wallet on day 91. [CW-A]
Does the ECSP licence protect against borrower default?
It does not provide deposit insurance or guarantee repayment of a project. [A4]
Is the 0.5% an annual return enhancement?
We do not describe it as one. It is a one-off 0.5% cashback on qualifying deposited and invested funds, paid on day 91, not an extra annual coupon. [CW-A]
