Consumer-loan claims linked to the Creditstar group — an investment, not an insured savings account.

Our take

A low-maintenance way to take consumer-credit exposure, concentrated on one lending group. The bonus is small; avoiding the 1% card fee matters more than the bonus itself.

Monefit SmartSaver removes much of the work associated with choosing P2P loans. You add money, choose the Main Account or a fixed-term Vault, and the investment is allocated to Creditstar consumer-loan claims. The advertised expected return is 7.50% APY for the Main Account and up to 10.52% APY for Vaults. [M1]

That convenience is the main reason to consider it. The central trade-off is equally clear: an easy account interface does not turn consumer credit into insured savings. Whether SmartSaver fits depends on your tolerance for loss, your need for access and your comfort with concentrated exposure to one lending group.

Where the return comes from

The commercial model is a share of consumer-lending economics. Creditstar lenders earn interest from borrowers; SmartSaver investors receive part of that economic return. You do not build a selection of unrelated originators as you might on a marketplace. [M1]

This distinction helps explain both the convenience and the limitations. You avoid maintaining dozens of loan filters, but you also have fewer choices about the credit exposure. A hundred consumer loans can reduce the effect of one borrower failing. They do not create a hundred independent funding businesses if the origination, servicing and liquidity arrangements remain linked to Creditstar.

It is useful to separate three questions: can borrowers repay; can the relevant group companies operate and finance themselves; and can investors exit when they ask? A smooth app answers none of these on its own.

Main Account or Vault?

The Main Account prioritises access. Vaults offer a higher advertised APY in exchange for giving up the normal right to request resale for the chosen period. The current Vault terms specify a €100 minimum and describe 12–24 month standard terms, with possible alternatives under promotions. [M3]

For an investor with €1,000, the difference between 7.50% and 10.52% looks like €30.20 over a year under a simplified constant-rate illustration. That is a comparison of annual rates, not the payoff on a particular Vault: actual term, compounding, payout choices, fees and product performance matter.

The useful decision is whether the extra potential return compensates for the reduced access. Choosing the longest term solely because its percentage is largest skips that decision.

Early exit is also a place where current documents need care. The September Vault terms describe a deduction of Additional Returns and reallocation to the Main Account after 30 days, or another period communicated in writing. A help article on account closure uses broader language about losing accumulated returns. We would ask Monefit for a worked example for the exact Vault before relying on an early-exit calculation. [M3], [M5]

Withdrawals: what “instant” actually means

The help centre describes instant withdrawals up to €1,000 per calendar month. Standard withdrawals are described as processing within ten business days, with potentially another one to three business days for payment processing. The bank/card method must meet verification requirements; Apple Pay cannot itself receive withdrawals. [M6]

These operational timings sit inside a more important contractual condition. Terms v5.0, §§7.5–7.9, link resale to demand or sufficient liquidity. If liquidity is insufficient, payments can be suspended and made in partial, pro-rata amounts. [M2]

Treat the usual processing time as an operating feature, not an unconditional promise of liquidity. Someone who needs the full balance on a fixed date should assess this before funding an account. “Request a withdrawal” and “receive the money in your bank” are different events.

Fees: the payment method can matter more than the bonus

The price list effective 6 January 2026 states:

TransactionPublished charge
Bank transfer inFree
Bank transfer outFree
Auto Invest transferFree
Card / Apple Pay / Google Pay funding1%
Card payment out, as listed1%

Source: [M7]. Product terms permit specific waivers; use the actual payment screen to confirm any account-specific exception.

A simple example shows why this deserves space near the signup button. One per cent of a €1,000 card transaction is €10. A 0.25% bonus on €1,000 of qualifying claims would be €2.50. Even before considering withdrawal charges or tax, that funding fee is four times the illustrative bonus.

The aim is to show the net economics. A higher gross bonus is less useful if a visitor chooses an avoidable fee-bearing payment route.

Welcome bonus: what is documented, and what remains unresolved

InvestBeacon's partner campaign description identifies a 0.25% welcome bonus, credited after qualifying transfers and locked for 90 days. This is the audience offer described by the partner; publisher payments are a separate commercial arrangement. [M14]

Public signup terms v3.1 calculate 0.25% on acquired claims, capped at €625. They specify crediting within seven business days from validation — registration plus identity verification — release 90 days from validation, and proportionate loss of the reward following early claim sales. Section 3.1 does not state the first-90-day accumulation window that the partner description uses for net transfers, and the partner description also speaks of immediate credit after each transfer. We do not merge these into one proven set of conditions. Until reconciled, we use “credited subject to campaign terms”, rather than guarantee instant access. [M8, M14]

The separate affiliate PDF permits combination with the Welcome campaign, but contains unresolved timing and cash-value wording. Its existence does not establish an additional reward through InvestBeacon. We therefore advertise neither guaranteed 0.50% nor two automatically stackable cash bonuses. [M9]

A small reward can improve the economics of an investment you already understand. It cannot resolve the underlying credit and liquidity risks.

Creditstar's financial position: profitability is only one part of the picture

Creditstar's 2025 consolidated annual report shows €13.465 million profit for the year, €46.770 million cash and cash equivalents and €285.186 million of P2P lending liabilities (reported in thousands of euros). It reports net debt to equity of 4.9, versus 4.1 a year earlier. We re-checked these four figures against the report on 20 October 2026. Figures are group-level, not SmartSaver client money or a guarantee fund. [M10]

Our interpretation: earnings and cash provide useful context, while leverage and funding dependence remain relevant to exit reliability. No single balance-sheet ratio establishes whether your specific claim will be repaid. We would want continuing visibility into asset performance and the legal treatment of claims under stress.

What specialist reviewers add

re:think P2P highlights the combination of convenient access and limited loan-level transparency. P2P Empire is more critical of group funding and liquidity risk. These are useful challenges to investigate, not ratings for InvestBeacon to copy. We also found stale statements in third-party coverage, including blanket “no fees” language contradicted by Monefit's current payment price list. [M11], [M12]

We have not independently established the exact insolvency ranking of every SmartSaver claim relative to every Creditstar debt instrument. Claims about universal subordination should not replace an analysis of the relevant agreements, entities and security packages.

Who may find the product useful?

SmartSaver may interest an investor who wants a low-maintenance way to take consumer-credit exposure and understands the concentration and access conditions. It is a poor fit for someone whose requirement is insured capital or guaranteed access to the entire balance tomorrow.

An existing Creditstar exposure elsewhere also matters. Adding a second platform name does not necessarily add a new economic counterparty.

Frequently asked questions

Is Monefit SmartSaver a savings account?

No. Its own risk disclosure excludes deposit guarantee and investor compensation scheme protection. [M4]

Is 7.50% APY a guaranteed profit?

No. APY is an annualised rate presentation. The risk of credit loss and delayed access remains. [M1], [M4]

Can I withdraw a Vault immediately?

Standard Main Account withdrawal language should not be applied to Vaults. Check the fixed term and the early-exit consequences of the selected product. [M3]

Is a card transfer free?

The published price list states 1%; a bank transfer is listed as free. Confirm any waiver before using a card. [M7]

Can I fund an account, collect the bonus and immediately withdraw?

The documented signup reward has a 90-day availability condition and early-sale consequences. The affiliate reward needs further clarification. [M8], [M9]
